Ray Kong is passionate about creating sustainable infrastructure and pursuing clean energy integration, and they wanted to know more about the global relationships between sustainability and technology as well as the history of environmentalism.
Kong really loved Introduction to Environmental Ideas! They took it with Dr. Erin Dean and loved the scope of the class and the discussions they had. Her anthropology background enriched the course and the focus on interdisciplinary approaches taught them and their peers how to think and critically approach new issues or ideas in the world of environmentalism.
Kong wants to bring everything they've learned and worked on in the program with them in their professional pursuits! Kong is passionate about instituting new sustainable technology in the public sphere, especially in our urban infrastructure.
