All ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ students and employees can ride  for free using a ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ ID card. Upon entering a bus, just tap your ID! This works on PRT buses, light rail cars, and inclines.

Those that need to get to Oakland, Squirrel Hill, and Shadyside can use ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½'s shuttles and NightSafe Transit, as well the , to get around campus and neighboring areas. 

Shuttles are free to students and employees – just show your ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ ID upon boarding. For details on ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ routes visit the Transportation Services' Shuttle Schedule page. 

Zipcar is the world’s largest car-sharing program, offering self-service, on-demand rental cars by the hour or day. Learn more by visiting the Transportation Services' Zipcar information page. 

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ Mellon has several electric vehicle charging stations on our Pittsburgh campus. Download the  to use the stations. There is a four-hour charging limit per vehicle, per day.

Sharing a ride to work with a colleague is a great way to reduce cost, wear and tear on a vehicle, and reduce emissions.

ÌìÃÀ´«Ã½ encourages parking permit holders to share a ride or carpool with other members of the campus community by offering a discount on the monthly parking permit rate. Visit the parking permits pages for more information.
